Goodbye 2012. You've been fun, you've been interesting, but it's time to go. Jenny and Sean discuss their favorite music and movies of 2012, Sean makes his 2013 predictions, we both hated school, Sean goes over his colonoscopy, is Kate Winslet nuts, New Year's Eve sucks for single people, a listener question, and all the usual stuff. With a Santacon induced hangover for Jenny, and Sean winding down from a near road rage incident, our two hosts pull up their boot straps and tackle another episode for their fine listeners. Today they take a second look at the Will Ferrell classic Elf, a review of Vancouver's first Santacon, a little trivia challenge, and then Matt Cluthe returns to the show for a few live songs and discusses the new Cluthe/Lee CD. We eat, we drink, and we're merry. A big thanks to our friends at Mainbrew, and to you for listening.

Scotch? Whiskey? Scotch Whiskey? We learn all about it while taking in some fine samples with our expert Tim, along with our old friend from Mainbrew, Douglas Remington. We also talk about the 2013 Grammy Nominations, talk about sounds these kids today probably wouldn't recognize, NW Brewing News Reader Choice Awards, Malcolm in the Middle has a stroke, Happy Hanukkah to our Jewish friends, A trivia challenge, a tough question for Jenny, good food consumed during the week, pdxbeercalendar.com, You Made It Weird podcast, and a quick review of last night's knockout of a fight. On top of all that delicious Scotch, we also managed to drink some fantastic Suge Knight Imperial Stout from Boneyard. Thanks to Mainbrew and to YOU for listening.

We love our guests. We've been pretty blessed with some outstanding guests on this show. What makes it even better is we consider them friends, more than guests. Today Cynthia Lopez and Juvie Hall return to talk more Roller Derby and their upcoming documentary Flat Track Around The World. Even though Juvie was sick as a dog, she toughed it out to stick to her commitment to show up (she could have totally called in sick). And they brought us friggin' SWAG! Such great people! Aside from that Jenny gives a briefing on her night with the Boss, Sean's also sick and has a buggy eyeball, a trivia challenge, a tough question for Jenny, Sean's sadness with the Holiday Ale Festival, the hierarchy of grocery stores, another new podcast discovery, bad hot sauces, and we wrap it up with a classic Christmas piece from Paul Simon and Steve Martin from SNL. A huge thanks to our guests, our great friends at Main Brew, and to you for listening. Today's featured beers include Boneyard's Backbone Espresso Stout, Midnight Sun's Cohoho IIPA, and Oakshire's Imperial Chocolate Pumpkin Porter. As always... release the curds, Mkay?

On top of that Jenny and Sean tear down Black Thursday, discuss the greatness of Joe Walsh on Live From Daryl's House, the deliciousness that is Deschutes Abyss, a question for Jenny and our trivia challenge, and Coney Island Hot Dogs rule! 4 more Beers! 4 more Beers! Oh wait, we're not a political show. So
today was all about the sport of Curling as we had Sean #2 on to tell
us all about the glory of this Olympic Event. I'm not even joking.
We want to go to do this. We also did our usual stuff with a tough
question for Jenny, trivia challenge, musical artists whose sound was
ruined by the 80's, Angry Birds Star Wars Edition, Walking Dead is
Awesome, Rihanna on SNL looked like an old Scandal video, NEVER sneeze
with your mouth shut, and you can now get stoned at a gay wedding in
Washington. Thanks again to our friends at Mainbrew.com and thanks

We can barely remember the last time we went solo with no guests. While we love having guests to chat with, it was fun to do it like in the olden days and just talk about stuff. We had out trivia challenge, a tough question for Jenny, Lists of Excellence, the impact of Disney buying Star Wars, was it Joe Biden or Michael Scott, November holidays, Cusack does Limbaugh, Orajel creeps Sean out, throat tickle noises, Louis CK does SNL, FUN is not a power trio, Goodbye to Bourdain (for now), covered a few good movies and our favorite tv series for the week, at one point we literally lose control of our functions in a fit of laughter, and lots more I forgot to write down. We drank many good beers from Double Mountain, Old Schoolyard, New Belgium's Lips of Faith series, and Stone Brewers. A huge thanks to our friends at Mainbrew.com. Thanks for listening.

In honor of the season premier for Walking Dead Season 3 we bring you an (almost) all Zombie episode with two very special guests. You all know Tom Sutton from his previous appearances on the show, as well as this guy named Rick Emerson who used to do some stuff in Portland, but appears very knowledgable on Zombies. So yeah, those two guys came on and we conducted a fairly comprehensive conversation about the Zombie culture and our thoughts on Walking Dead. Sorry if things sound a bit fragmented at the first 20 minutes of the show, but our guests staggered their arrival times. It's all good because this episode is a prime example of how In One Day Radio will win your hearts and minds. Mmmmmm.... hearts and minds.

We might as well have called this one The Sound of Music. We were spoiled with our first in studio music guest, Matt Cluthe. We also inducted new entrees into Lists of Excellence, discussed Jiro Dreams of Sushi, Neko Case in PDX, the upcoming Muddy Boots Festival, another tough question for Jenny, Smoothies, changes for KGON's morning show, Naked Prince Harry, Eddie Van Halen, #releasethecurds, Pinterest, and as always... a big thanks to Main St. Homebrew and The Twangshifters... as well as Matt Cluthe.
